Over The Hill
Tuning: DADGAD with a capo on the 5th fret.
It uses a fast, delicate strum and sort of flat pick on the open and hammered on 2nd frets of the 5th and 4th strings. You also need to use a full strum with the 3rd string on the 2nd fret sometime. The main change is another full chord with the 2nd fret of the 6th and 5th strings held. That’s more or less it. If you want some fun, try emulating the mandolin parts occasionally.
Transcribed by Willie Milne.
Ian Barnett adds: on the Sweet Certain Surprise bootleg it definitely sounds like he uses a *major chord* open tuning-possibly DADF#AD?
