We are getting married on Friday and will be having ''may you never' as our first dance. Not an typical first dance song but a beautiful song that has become very special to us. My fiancé introduced me to John martyn and for that I'm truly thankful. So happy that we have our special song as something not to mainstream but truly beautiful.

Had the great privilege of seeing JM in concert on more than 18 occasions, over 30+ years, from coherent to Drunk and almost incapable of speech!
Best Gig was at the Bein Inn, Perthshire, 60 people present, full Band, like wearing headphones, Fabulous! Miss the voice, lyrics and heart, he is definitely above us!!

Hi all,
Just as a kind of a side comment I used to live at Woolwich Green Farm where some of the album One World was recorded using microphones positioned on the far side of the lake.
I must say even now after all of the passing years I had the most fantastic childhood there living with my Grandfather William Bracey (he was the Farmer and tennant of Woolwich Green Farm) preceeding Chris Blackwell's purchase of the Farm back around 1967/8.
Having known about the various musicians who played/recorded there it must have had some influence on me as I have been a guitarist for most of my life playing in semi-pro bands.
Every time I pass the Farm, I always remeber the great times I had there.

I have held onto the one cassette I had, called So Far So Good.
When I performed, I always ended the night with May You Never.
What a magical mystical talented man. Thank you John! Thank you for keeping his page!
